Painting in the Park is a beginners social, modern and fun oil painting workshop to teach you an amazingly productive new skill. It’s great for dates, catching up with mates and for meeting new friends. After this painting lesson you will have a completed painting ready to take home and hang up on your wall!

This workshop is for absolute beginners and will teach you the basics of oil painting (colours, mediums and mixing paints) along with step-by-step instructions on how to create your own masterpiece. We provide all materials (including a studio quality framed canvas, oil paints, medium, brushes, aprons, palette knife).

Time: 11.45pm to 2.30pm (Arrive at 11:45pm to get your materials, painting starts at 12pm sharp)

What to bring:
– Blanket to sit on

Tickets:
$35 for a 2.5 hour lesson including all materials (small canvas 8″x10″) or $45 (for a larger 12″x16″ canvas)

THE PAINTING for this event will be of Rangitoto from the summit of North Head in Devonport.

Cancellation policy: No refunds, but you can use your ticket for another Art In Bloom event with 72 hours notice.
