Painting party

Just yourself! We supply the paints, brushes, canvases, art smocks,easels and more. Best of all we do all of the set up and cleaning up so you can focus on just having fun.
Painting Parties are a fun way to spend an evening or day out. We provide everything, the materials, step by step instructions as well as all of the setting up and cleaning afterwards, all you have to do is show up, paint with us, and take home your masterpiece!
Painting Parties are held in carefully selected bars around Auckland that serve a wide range of food and drinks as well as have the perfect atmosphere to get your creative juices flowing. See each event page for the specific location and address.
If you’ve never held a brush since school or dabbled in painting before then this will be right up your alley. The only prerequisite is a willingness to have a great time.
The majority of attendees haven’t painted since school and that hasn’t stopped them producing stellar results. Give it a go and you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
Aim to get there at least 20 minutes before the event starts so you can grab a drink and settle in your seat. If you’re in a large group, arrive a bit earlier to get seats together.
You’ll be painting on a large 16x20inch (40x50cm) stretched canvas. It’s self-framed and ready to hang so you wont have any costly framing expenses afterwards. If a painting is more complicated it may be on a smaller canvas so we can finish on time, if this is the case the event will specify the change in canvas size.
The ticket price includes one complimentary house beer or house wine. Some bars may allow a house spirit too, check at the bar.
If an event is hosted in a bar/restaurant no food or drinks are allowed. At art studios or other locations you can BYO.

No refunds available if cancelled one week before the event. You can switch your booking to a future with 72 hours notice and rebookings must be made by email to info@artinbloom.co.nz at least 48 hours before the next event.

Painting in the Park

We provide everything but recommend that you bring along a blanket to sit on and some food to snack on.
We provide everything you need for the painting, including the canvas, paints, brushes, palette knives, palette, washing up equipment and more. We recommend you just bring along a blanket.
We don’t guarantee you wont! But we do provide art smocks. Oil paint is a little harder to get off clothing than acrylics (at Paint Night) so wear something you don’t mind getting some paint on or you can just be very careful when painting.
As we’re at the park we will be painting on the ground with no easel (it’s just nicer that way!). You can bring a chair to sit on or a standing easel if you would like.
